Mr. McDonnell is a CPA and an expert in financial and administrative
management with 28 years of financial management experience. He
specializes in financial planning, profit improvement, product line
accountability, cash management, acquisitions, divestitures and investor
relations.
Mr. McDonnell started his career at Arthur Anderson & Co. As a senior
auditor he was responsible for coordinating, directing and supervising
financial audits primarily in manufacturing, health care and service
industries. Additionally, he spent one year with the firm’s office in
Lisbon, Portugal.
In 1977, he joined Tiger International, Inc. where he was Vice President,
Controller and Treasurer of this $1.4 billion company. He was
responsible for corporate strategy in collaboration with senior officers
that resulted in the operational and financial turnaround of the
company.
As Vice President – Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Elsinore LP (a
limited partnership providing airport ground service to major airlines),
Mr. McDonnell was responsible for the finance and administrative
functions including treasury, accounting, human resources, insurance and
contracts. He successfully increased the company’s line of credit,
thereby improving cash flows. He also upgraded the accounting, financial
planning and management information systems. Under his tenure, costs
were substantially reduced due to implementation of procedures developed
and implemented by him.
Mr. McDonnell received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration in 1971. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member
of AICPA and the California State Society of Certified Public
Accountants.
