Joseph E. Viel
 

Mr. Viel has 25 years experience in the implementation of results oriented business systems. He has cost effectively managed user oriented management information system organizations including a division of a Fortune 50 firm. Mr. Viel has considerable experience in addressing unique information technology problems associated with organizations undergoing major changes in their industry or markets.

He has successfully implemented complex business systems vital to the operation of companies ranging in size from small manufacturers to large multi-national companies. He has also lead teams of executives from various disciplines charged with solving specific business issues. Examples of these include building and start-up of offshore high technology manufacturing facility systems; reduction of inventory levels through implementation of Just In Time (JIT) techniques; and, establishment of sales forecasting and factory scheduling in multi-plant environments.

Mr. Viel is principal of the firm Diversified Management Services. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the City College of New York and his Masters in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge. He is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and has taught production and operations courses as an adjunct professor for California State University, Northridge.
